Chilean Patagonia Flight

02-16-2013 05:37:31

Just returned from a 1,800+ NM trip to the Chilean Patagonia. The scenery is breathtaking and words fall very short.
I landed close to the San Rafael glacier and stayed there for 3 days. Later I overflew the North Ice Field, one of the two very large ice fields there.
I uploaded some pics in the photo album section.

Cheers,
Melvyn

I'm a little bit envious :D
I'm having trouble in finding the pictures, could you post the link to the album?

Thanks,
Enrico

Ciao Melvyn,
I finally found the correct location.
Breathtaking is the correct word.

Keep the good flying up!

Hello Melvyn
Very glad to hear about you. Im am registered on this forum for a long time now, but I don't come very often... Since I terminated the other forum few months ago, I will come here more often now, just to see what happening in the Robinson world.
By the way, my starter broke again on my 44 yesterday. It will be the fifth starter in less than 700 hours. This time, it is the shaft that broke...
So the final count of the things that continuously break is
2 ring gears
5 starters

My old Astro was much more solid that the Raven One
Bye
